Foam Granulator Aids Suriname in EPE and EPS Recycling

Foam granulator shipped to Suriname

Recently, two foam granulators were successfully shipped to Suriname. Our customers in Suriname were looking for an efficient solution to process EPS and EPE foam materials into pellets. For this purpose, we supplied them with a complete set of equipment to ensure an efficient and smooth production process.

Equipment Configuration

Considering that the granulation process of EPS and EPE is different, the customer needs to equip two special foam granulators. The capacity of each machine is 150-200kg/h, which can meet the customer’s production demand.

In addition, we also provide a 200kg/h EPS foam shredder, two cooling tanks, and two pellet cutting machines to form a complete production line. The combination of these machines not only improves the production efficiency but also ensures the quality of the final pellets.

EPE EPS Pelletizing Differences

There is a clear difference between EPE and EPS in the pelletizing process, as EPS material is hard, it needs to be crushed before pelletizing to ensure effective processing. On the other hand, EPE material is softer and the EPE foam granulator comes with a feeding system so that customers can put the material directly into the extruder without crushing it in advance. This design simplifies the processing of EPE and improves the production efficiency.
