What Is A Screenless Slagging Die Head?
A screenless slag removal die of pellet making machine is a special type of die used for plastic extrusion processing. Its main function is to remove impurities in the plastic material from the extruded plastic melt to ensure the quality and purity of the final product. It is also known as a meshless filter, automatic impurity removal die, automatic slag filter, etc.
Working Principle of Automatic Slag Filter
The automatic slag filter is usually located at the end of the extrusion screw of the pellet making machine. The meshless filter adopts a wear-resistant alloy steel mesh plate filter with anti-clogging unidirectional melt filtering microporous holes, which plays the role of allowing the passage of molten plastic and blocking impurities.
In addition, the filtration system is equipped with a synchronous operation of the debris removal rotary scraper. When working, the melted plastic from the fine holes through the impurities and dirt left on the side of the filter plate; debris removal rotary scraper to remove impurities at a speed of 3 revolutions per minute, during the process, a part of the impurities are pushed to the impurity chamber, so as to achieve continuous reciprocating filtration purposes.
