Tire Cutting Machine

tire cutting machine

The tire cutting machine is a kind of equipment used to process waste tires in sections, which applies to the pre-processing of various types of tyres, especially playing an important role in the tyre recycling production line. By cutting tyres into sections, it facilitates the subsequent crushing and grinding process to be carried out efficiently, reduces energy consumption and improves the efficiency of the production line.

Applicable Raw Material

This machine is suitable for passenger car tires, light truck tires, and some OTR tires for pretreatment. Tyres that have had their beads removed can be cut into three sections for subsequent entry into the tire shredder.

Two types of Tire Cutting Machine

To accommodate the size and structural differences of various types of waste tires, we offer a range of tire cutter machines, suitable for both passenger and light truck tires with diameters up to 1200mm, as well as large OTR (Off-The-Road) tires with diameters up to 4000mm.

Working Principle of Tire Cutter Machine

The equipment uses a hydraulic-driven cutter, providing powerful and stable performance. During operation, the tire is placed on the rack platform, and two hydraulic locking devices firmly clamp the tire to prevent movement. Then, the cutter descends vertically under the control of the hydraulic system, quickly cutting the tire. The entire process is efficient and safe, making it suitable for pre-processing various sizes of waste tires.
