Bu at\u0131k k\u00f6p\u00fckler at\u0131lmadan \u00f6nce \u00e7ok fazla yer kaplar ve uygun olmayan \u015fekilde at\u0131lmas\u0131 da \u00e7evreyi kirletebilir. EPS peletleme i\u015fleminde, b\u00fcy\u00fck miktarda EPS k\u00f6p\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn toz haline getirilmesi i\u00e7in \u00f6ncelikle bir EPS k\u00f6p\u00fck par\u00e7alay\u0131c\u0131ya beslenmesi gerekir. Ezilmi\u015f EPS k\u00f6p\u00fc\u011f\u00fc daha sonra bir EPS peletleme makinesine beslenir ve burada eritilir ve daha sonra uzun \u015feritler halinde ekstr\u00fcde edilir.
