Copper Wire Granulator Machine for Waste Wire Recycling

copper wire granulator

If you are handling waste wires and cables and want to recover the valuable copper inside them, a copper wire granulator machine can turn mixed wire scrap into separated copper and plastic granules.

Our copper granulator is designed for different types of waste wires, including electrical wires, square wires, automotive wires, communication cables, earphone wires, and other cable scrap. The system combines crushing, conveying, gravity separation, tailings screening, dust collection, and control into one complete setup.

A Practical Solution for Mixed Waste Wires

Different wire scrap can contain different sizes and types of insulation. Instead of manually separating every wire before processing, the copper wire granulator allows various waste wires and fine wires to be fed into the machine for processing.

This can reduce manual sorting work and make the recycling process easier to manage.

The main goal is simple: recover the copper while also collecting the plastic insulation as a usable separated material.

How Does the Copper Wire Granulator Work?

The working process follows a straightforward dry recycling route:

Waste wires → Crushing → Conveying → Gravity separation → Copper & plastic separation → Screening → Final products

1. Waste Wires Enter the Crusher

Waste wires and cables are first fed into the crushing machine. The crusher breaks the wires into smaller pieces and separates the copper from the surrounding plastic insulation.

The crushing system uses SKD-11 alloy cutting tools. The blade structure is designed for alternate shearing, while a water-cooling system helps reduce heat buildup during continuous operation.

2. Crushed Material Is Conveyed Forward

After crushing, the processed material is moved by the conveying system toward the separation section.

This creates a continuous connection between crushing and separation, so the operator does not need to transfer the material manually between individual machines.
