Esses res\u00edduos de espumas ocupam muito espa\u00e7o antes de serem descartados e o descarte inadequado tamb\u00e9m pode poluir o meio ambiente. No processo de pelotiza\u00e7\u00e3o de EPS, grandes peda\u00e7os de espuma de EPS precisam primeiro ser alimentados em um triturador de espuma de EPS para pulveriza\u00e7\u00e3o. A espuma de EPS triturada \u00e9 ent\u00e3o alimentada em uma m\u00e1quina de pelotiza\u00e7\u00e3o de EPS, onde \u00e9 derretida e posteriormente extrudada em longas tiras. A m\u00e1quina possui alta taxa de compress\u00e3o e pode reduzir o volume da espuma pl\u00e1stica em at\u00e9 40 vezes.
